Brett Shavack competed in three tournaments at Cooperstown Dreams Park with the Bus Zebley Delaware All Stars in 1996 (July 27th), 1997 (July 19th), and 1998 (July 18th). Brett was excited to be a part of Cooperstown Dreams Park’s inaugural year and then being able to return for two more years. He has all three of his Cooperstown Dreams Park American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame rings.
Brett graduated from Salesianum School (Wilmington, DE) where he was an All-State wrestler. Following high school, Brett enlisted in the United States Coast Guard. A 15-year veteran, he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Upon his retirement from the United States Coast Guard, Brett spent five years with the Delaware Department of Corrections as a Correctional Corporal. He made a professional transition starting a career in the railroad industry with Amtrak.
Brett continued his baseball career as a member of two men’s league baseball teams in Delaware: New Castle Knights and Secret 9.
