Odell Beckham, Jr.

Odell Beckham, Jr., competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park with Carrollton (LA) during week 5 in 2005.

 

Odell graduated from Isidore Newman School (New Orleans, LA) where he lettered in football, basketball and track. During his senior football season, Odell became only one of two players in the high school’s history to record 1,000 receiving yards in a season. He was named the Times Picayune 2011 Blue-Chip list and to the Louisiana 2A All-State first team as a wide receiver, while earning District 9-2A Offensive MVP honors. On the basketball court, Odell lettered all four years, being named an all-district selection his junior and senior years. He also excelled on the track in sprinting and jumping events.

 

Odell continued his academics at Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge, LA) where he had a successful collegiate football career for three years. At the conclusion of his junior season, Odell decided to enter the 2014 NFL Draft – the New York Giants selected Odell as the 12th overall pick. He made his professional debut on October 5, 2014. During his first three seasons in the NFL, Odell was named to the Pro Bowl (2014, 2015, 2016), Second-team All-Pro (2015, 2016), AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year (2014) and PFWA Rookie of the Year (2014). Odell’s pro football career continued with the Cleveland Browns when he was traded in March 2019 and then with the Los Angeles Rams midway through the 2021 season. Odell and the Rams won Super Bowl LVI.
