Andrew Karkota

Andrew Karkota competed during the 2008 National American Tournament of Champions (N.A.T.C.) at Cooperstown Dreams Park with the Long Island Playmakers (NY).

Since his week at Cooperstown Dreams Park, Andrew continued his baseball career playing on several teams and his high school varsity squad at Eastport-South Manor (Masonville, NY). Andrew helped Eastport-South Manor to a 23-4 overall record and the League V title in 2012. The team was also awarded the Walt Williams Award for the best record in Suffolk County while Andrew received the 2012 SCSCA/PAL Gold Glove Award and All-League and All-County honors.

When Andrew is not on the diamond for his high school team, he competes on a number of travel teams. In 2011, he played at Perfect Game's Northeast Underclass Showcase (South Windsor, CT). In 2012, he traveled to Sicklerville, NJ, with the LI Prospects Pro Elite to participate in the WWBA (World Wood Bat Association) Northeast Qualifier #1. He was in Marietta, GA, with the MLI Phantom Prospect for the WWBA 2014 Grads or 16u National Championship as well as with the Long Island Prospects for the WWBA 2013 Grads or 17u National Championship (Marietta, GA). Andrew, who is an outfielder/mid-infielder, was also a member of the 2012 Under Armour National Team competing at the Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City (Bradenton, FL).
