Nate Smith

Nate Smith and the Hornell Red Raiders (NJ) competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park during Week 9 in 1999. Nate started off his week competing in the Roadrunner skill competition. He later went on to hit his first and only home run and making an awesome diving catch in left field. Nate enjoyed pin trading throughout the week.

Nate graduated with honors from Hornell High School (Hornell, NY) where he was on the National Honor Society and was a three-sport athlete (football, basketball and baseball), receiving the Gary Garnes Sportsmanship award. In addition to his scholastic sports, Nate also competed in a travel soccer league.

Nate continued his education at St. John Fisher College (Rochester, NY) making Dean’s List all four years of his undergraduate degree and then receiving his Master’s Degree in Business Administration. While in college, Nate played two years on the football team while participating in intramural basketball and volleyball.

Nate has excelled in his professional career as a BSA Compliance Specialist at M&T Bank.
