The Week #9 Opening Pitch was thrown out by one of this week's players from the Bloo Devils of Coran, New York. Chris Siegel from Long Island is not only a baseball player but a cancer survivor. At the tender age of six, Chris was diagnosed. After intense chemo theraphy, Chris was in remission in July of 2001 but was re-diagnosed. In October he underwent a bone marrow transplant and is currently a member of the team and a healthy young man. Despite everything, Chris made the trip with his family to Cooperstown Dreams Park to be a member of the team. Chris threw out the opening pitch to his dad, Frank Siegel.
