Inning:
#18 SWA Storm (TN)
Devin Thrain pops out to the second basemen for the first out of the ballgame. Cade Fuller bats next and strikes out looking on a pitch that catches the outside corner. Jordan Carter crushes a homerun out of the ballpark to left center. The Storm lead 1-0. After the longball, Jackson Sleeper strikes out swinging to end the inning. After one half inning the Storm lead 1-0.
#5 Cincy Flames (OH)
Leading off for the Cincy Flames is Carlos Richard pops out to shortstop to lead off the inning. Up next is Chase Krewson who flies out to foul territory in left field. Cason Calmus provides the first web gem of the inning with a sliding catch nearing the wall. Up next is Colt Emerson who draws a walk. Following Emerson is Toby Hueber. Emerson advances to second on a passed ball. Hueber strikes out looking. After one full inning the Flames leave one runner on and trail the Storm 1-0.
Second
Inning:
#18 SWA Storm (TN)
Aiden Justice leads off the inning for the SWA Storm. Justice lines a single to the left field wall. Up next is Cason Calmus, who ground into a 5-4 fielder's choice. Calmus easily steals second base. Calmus presses his luck and steals third base successfully. Batting next is Trace Phillips who gets called out on strikes. Logan Michalak hits a ball into the gap for a single, and scores Calmus. The Storm lead 2-0. Kai Zelaya closes out the inning striking out looking. After one and a half the Storm lead 2-0 over the Cincy Flames.
#5 Cincy Flames (OH)
Leading off for the Cincy Flames is Jonathan Fitz, who lines out to the jumping shortstop, Cade Fuller. Jackson Wang gets a hold of one and plants it over the left centerfield wall to make it 2-1. Braxton Platt strikes out swinging for the second out of the inning. Carson Druckrey continues the scoring by hitting a homerun over the left field fence. Jackson Sobel walks. Aiden Melvin flies out to left field to end the inning. After two full innings the game is now tied 2-2.
Third
Inning:
#18 SWA Storm (TN)
Jason Hamm leads off the top of the third inning. Druckrey picks up his fifth strikeout of the game striking out Hamm. Up next for the Storm is Robert Gallardo. Gallardo makes solid contact but lines out to the shortstop. Devin Thrain picks up his first hit of the ballgame with a single to left. Fuller continues the hit parade with his own single to left field, advancing Thrain to third base. Jordan Carter hits a hard ground ball that is speared by third basemen Braxton Platt, who throws Carter out at first. After two and a half innings the game is still tied 2-2.
#5 Cincy Flames (OH)
Leading off the bottom of the third is AJ Ewing. Ewing walks on 4 pitches. After the walk manager Brad Phillips decides to bring in a new pitcher, Cade Fuller. Carlos Richard flies out to right field for the first out of the inning. Chase Krewson strikes out swinging on a nasty inside pitch. Colt Emerson singles and advance Ewing to third. Toby Hueber singles just under the glove of the first basemen, Ewing scores and Emerson advances to second, The Flames now lead 3-2. The Jonathan Fitz records the third consecutive hit for the Flames with a single to left. The bases are now loaded. Wang singles to center, scoring Emerson. The ball gets by the centerfielder, which allows Hueber to score and move Fitz to 3rd and Wang to 2nd, extending the lead to 5-2. Following the single to center Braxton Platt clears the bases hitting a dinger to right field. Now, with the bases empty, Carson Druckrey gets hit by a pitch and walks to first. Jackson Sobel records the final out with a lineout to the third baseman. After 3 full innings the Cincy Flames now lead 8-2 over the SWA Storm.
Fourth
Inning:
#18 SWA Storm (TN)
Jackson Sleeper strikes out swinging to start off the 4th inning. Justice singles to centerfield and is now 2-2 for the game. Cason Calmus gets a couple of RBI's hitting a homerun to right center. The Storm now trail 8-4. Trace Phillips singles for the third straight hit. Phillips advances to second on a passed ball. Michalak reaches on an infield single, advancing Phillips to third. Zelaya strikes out swinging for the second out of the inning. Manager Brad Phillips exercises his right to drop the extra two hitters, so Devin Thrain bats next. Thrain singles to center, scoring Phillips. The Storm are now trailing 8-5. Cade Fuller hits a 3 run homer to center scoring Zelaya, Thrain, and Fuller. The score is now knotted up at 8. Carter goes back-to-back and hits a homerun out of the park. The Storm now lead 9-8. Jackson Sleeper grounds out to short to end the inning. After 4 and a half the Storm retake the lead 9-8 putting up a 7 run inning.
#5 Cincy Flames (OH)
Now pitching for the SWA Storm is Devin Thrain. Thrain faces Aiden Melvin, who grounds out to a sliding second baseman. AJ Ewing pops out to the shortstop for the second out. Carlos Richard singles just over the second basemen for his first hit of the ballgame. Richard advances on a passed ball. Chase Krewson grounds out to short to end the inning. After 4 full innings the SWA Storm lead the Cincy Flames 9-8.
Fifth Inning:
#18 SWA Storm (TN)
Braxton Platt is now pitching for the Cincy Flames and Aiden Justice leads off the top of the 5th inning with a can of corn fly out to center. Carson Calmus hits his second homerun of the day with a solo shot over the centerfield fence. The Storm now lead 10-8. Trace Phillips adds another run with a homerun of his own to extend the Storm lead to 11-8. Jackson Sobel comes in to pitch. Logan Michalak strikes out swinging for the second out of the inning. Kai Zelaya is retired on a ground out to second. After 5 and a half the Strom add 2 runs, and now lead 11-8.
#5 Cincy Flames (OH)
Emerson leads off the bottom of the 5th with a single up the middle. Hueber singles to left, advancing Emerson to 2nd. Fitz ties the ballgame with a 3 run homer to center field. Wang grounds out to second for the first out of the inning. Platt strikes out swinging at a ball in the dirt. Druckrey then strikes out swinging to end the inning. After a 3 run 5th the Flames tie the game at 11.
Sixth
Inning:
#18 SWA Storm (TN)
To open the inning Devin Thrain reaches on a high pop to right, when the ball was lost in the lights. Thrain steals second and Cade Fuller strikes out swinging for the first out. Jordan Carter is intentionally walked. Thrain and Carter double steal. A throwing error on the catcher allows Thrain to score and Carter to move to third. Sleeper flies to right field. Carter tries to tag up and gets gunned down at home by the right fielder Jackson Wang. The error allows one run to score and the Storm lead 12-11.
#5 Cincy Flames (OH)
Cason Calmus is now pitching for the SWA Storm. Sobel strikes out swinging to lead of the bottom of the 6th. Aiden Melvin grounds out to short for the second out of the inning. AJ Ewing walks. Carlos Richard flies out to right to end the game. The SWA Storm defeat the Cincy Flames 12-11.
