First Inning:

#17 WFBA Blue (TX)

Blaydon Plain started the game on a high note with a bullet single up the middle. Dakota Jordan followed with a walk and then Alden Macks singled in Plain to give WFBA the early lead. Elite Squad-Legends south paw Ashton Fedorek was able to stop the bleeding there, coming back to strike out the side in the inning. WFBA Blue led 1-0 after the 1st half.

#2 Elite Squad Legends (FL)

Marco Navarro did not allow his team to stay behind for long as he led the bottom half of the inning off with an opposite field home run that wrapped around the right field foul pole. Jorge Bello, Giovanny Cueto, and Michael Quevedo all reached base safely to load them up for Ashton Fedorek to help his own cause with an RBI single. Giovanny Cueto then scored on a wild pitch and Salvador Alvarez walked to knock WFBA's starter Aiden Macks out of the ball game. Trent Hodgdon came into relieve and was met by back to back RBI singles from Logan Forsythe and Edrian Romero, but he was able to leave the bases loaded in the inning. 5-1 Elite Squad Legends.

Second Inning:

#17 WFBA Blue (TX)

WFBA started the 2nd the right way once again as Jackson Hiatt reached base with a lead off walk. After Ethan Coley struck out, Colby Jones moved Hiatt into scoring position with a 1 out base hit. However, Fedorek was able to escape another jam and got out of the inning with his 5-1 lead still intact.

#2 Elite Squad Legends (FL)

After Hodgdon was able to retire the first two of the inning, Yoel Tejeda blasted a high flyball out of the stadium in left center field to extend the lead to 6-1 through two.

Third Inning:

#17 WFBA Blue (TX)

For the third straight inning WFBA had the lead man reach base safely as Dakota Jones walked. Ashton Fedorek was then lifted from the game for reliver Logan Forsythe. Forsythe got the first out of the inning as Jones was removed from the base paths on a fielders choice off the bat of Aiden Macks, but then Tanner Jones and Ellis Yohn provided the damage in the inning mashing back-to-back homers to bring this one back to a 6-4 ball game.

#2 Elite Squad Legends (FL)

Catcher Salvador Alvarez hit a solo shot to left field to push the lead to 7-4 Elite Squad Legends after three.

Fourth Inning:

#17 WFBA Blue (TX)

Pitcher Logan Forsythe made quick work of WFBA in the inning, retiring the side in order.

#2 Elite Squad Legends (FL)

WFBA's pitcher Trent Hodgdon matched the 1,2,3 top half with one of his own. Headed to the 5th 7-4 Elite Squad Legends.

Fifth Inning:

#17 WFBA Blue (TX)

Aiden Macks refused to allow WFBA to go down quitely, leading the inning off with a solo shot. Tanner Jones then walked, but was eliminated at second base on a fielder choice and great play from RF Yoel Tejeda off the bat of Ellis Yohn. Yohn stole second and third, but was stranded there to finish the inning. WFBA was able to chip away for one, but still trailed 7-5 heading to the bottom of the 5th.

#2 Elite Squad Legends (FL)

Hodgdon threw up a much needed zero in the inning, setting WFBA up for their last chance at romance.

Sixth Inning:

#17 WFBA Blue (TX)

Joseph Willis came in to close it out for the Elite Squad Legends in the 6th and was able to strike out two and retire the side to finish out the ballgame.
