In 1998, Trevor
Plouffe competed at Cooperstown Dreams
Park during N.A.T.C. with the SoCal Angels
(CA). Twelve years later (May, 2010) he
made his major league debut with the
Minnesota Twins.
Trevor is a 2004 graduate of Crespi
Carmelite High School (Encino, CA). During
his senior year, Trevor batted .509
(28-55) with six home runs, 20 runs batted
in, 23 runs, and 10 stolen bases. He was
named a 2004 "Collegiate Baseball News"
High School All-American. After
graduation, Trevor was drafted by the
Minnesota Twins as the 20th overall pick.
He spent the 2004 season with the
Rookie-level Elizabethton Twins
(Eizabethon, TN).
Trevor spent several years in the minors,
splitting the 2008 season between the
Double-A New Britain Rock Cats (New
Britain, CT) and Triple-A Rochester Red
Wings (Rochester, NY). He was added to the
Minnesota Twins Major League 40-man roster
after the 2008 season. On May 20, 2010,
Trevor was called up to the Minnesota
Twins.
