In 2000, Miguel
Angel Morel, Jr., competed at Cooperstown
Dreams Park three separate weeks (Week 3,
Week 4, and NATC) with the Boys of
Baseball National Travel Team
organization. Although the Boys of
Baseball is an Alabama based association,
Miguel is a native of Ocala, FL.
Miguel spent his high school career at
Trinity Catholic High School (Ocala, FL),
playing both football and baseball at the
varsity level. During all four years of
baseball, Miguel received such honors as
one of the top 10 players in the state of
Florida as well as All-State team. In
2006, his team clinched the district state
championship.
Upon graduating from high school, Miguel
moved on to play baseball at Bronx
Community College (Bronx, NY) where he was
a 1st Team All State-All Region award
recipient. Currently, Miguel is a member
of Cooperstown Dreams Park's Baseball
Operations Department and is recognized as
a Steward of the Game.
