Beaver Valley Red of Beaver
Valley, Pennsylvania continued
their torid hitting with a 15 -1
win over the #9 seeded West Pines
Cobras of Pembroke Pines, Florida
to win the Week #7 championship.
Quentin Williams of Beaver Valley
was the winning pitcher. He
struck out 10 and gave up two
hits in the five inning contest.
Williams also hit two home runs.
In the first with none on and his
walkoff homer in the 5th with two
on. Tyler Savisky of Beaver
Valley also homered in the first
inning with one man on while
teammates Matt Kosik and Danny
Jergel also had round trippers.
Robert Haire homered for the West
Pines Cobras in the third inning
with no one aboard. For Beaver
Valley's Manager, Brian Smith, it
was the second consecutive Week
#7 championship. Quentin Williams
also set a new record for most
consecutive strikes thrown in a
championship game with 18. The
previous record was 16.
